The Night
No experience of Monaco is complete without a visit to the most famous Casino
in the world, a lavish setting of sculpted woodwork, frescos and stained glass
where it might be your turn to be lucky.
At the Oceanographic Museum, founded by Prince Albert I, the surroundings are
just as spectacular, and have attracted the admiration of more than 25 million
visitors since its opening in 1910. The exhibits range from the equipment used
by Jacques Cousteau to the skeletons of large sea creatures, and the
magnificent collection of rare multicoloured fish in the aquarium.
Nightime envelops the Principaly with a joyful atmosphere and a magical
sparkle.
The Salle des Etoiles of the Monte Carlo Sporting Club opens onto a sky
illuminated by a thousand lights, and the echoes of festivities can be heard
all around the port of Monaco.
