Modamilano, a veritable symbol of women's prêt-à-porter fashions, also focuses on research and experimentation. This year, Momi has inaugurated a partnership with the Supr-Abit Avangarde Show of Valeria Gunz, the mastermind behind the stunningly successful Fashion events of the past five years in Switzerland. This was done to introduce new talents in Fashion to the international scene.
New Design is a brand new section for talented young European designers and the world of Fashion. In this area, creative new trends come face to face with classic style. It gives everyone an opportunity to establish a dialogue and explore the future of the dynamic and ever-changing world of Fashion. It also establishes an understanding of the latest trends and a renewal of the creative spirit.
New design gives up-and-coming designers a chance to present their collections to an elite public, alongside the most important international prêt-à-porter designer labels.
During the first day of Momi, New Design collections were the stars of a Fashion show realised in co-operation with Swiss Air.
